Acupuncture Facial Rejuvenation Is Good PREVENTATIVE Medicine!

When we are in our twenties and early thirties most of us don’t give much thought to our aging skin. We lay in the sun, go to sleep with makeup on, eat junk food, stay up late, etc. We feel invincible and may think “who cares what my skin looks 20 years from now? I’ll be OLD.” Unfortunately all this neglect and abuse takes its toll rapidly, making us look much older than we are.

So what are our choices? Fortunately, Eastern medicine is based on a system of wellness and prevention. Acupuncture keeps energy flowing throughout the body, therefore nourishing all of the organs including the LARGEST organ in our body, the skin.

Acupuncture facial rejuvenation is not just for wrinkles, sagging, and dark spots. As a part of an overall program of skin health for individuals of any age, you can have treatments much in the same way you would get a facial. The difference is that an acupuncturist specially trained in facial rejuvenation can diagnose imbalances in your organs, such as your liver, which may cause acne or melasma in your kidneys. Melasma can result in dark circles or premature aging or your spleen, which can contribute greatly to sagging and or puffiness.

Acupuncture facial rejuvenation, done as part as a regular program of skin care, can prolong the appearance of crows feet, sagging jowls, droopy eyelids, and turkey neck that we THINK won’t happen to us until we are “old.” However, if you don’t take care of your skin, these things can start to creep up as early as your late thirties.

Treatments are very relaxing and you will look forward to the refreshed, rested appearance you attain from each and every session.
