Bistro Blanc: A Sleek Alternative to the Traditional Wine Bar

Author: admin 12 August 2010 No Comment

Is it a restaurant, a wine lounge or retail merchant?  Bistro Blanc, located in Glenelg, Maryland, is all three and more!

When it comes to wine, Bistro Blanc showcases 300-500 varietals of wine from around the world. Wine is available by the bottle, glass, or flight and their knowledgeable wine staff can recommend pairings and answer your questions. Or try the Enomatic wine serving system where you can explore a wide range of wines—by the glass, half glass, or taste. An interesting selection of specialty beers and cocktails is also available.

The restaurant offers a wonderful small plate New American cuisine, prepared from scratch on order by Chef Marc Dixon. From soups, salads, and starters to entrees and desserts, the menu will entice you to try, sample and share. Chef Marc uses local seasonal ingredients to create many of his signature dishes including chilled avocado soup with Maryland lump crab, Wood Camp Farm beef burgers, and roasted eggplant en croute; and for dessert try the black raspberry and peach cobbler. Check their website bistroblancmd.com for the complete brunch, lunch, cocktail, and dinner menus.

Bistro Blanc is also available for private parties for up to 60 people and can cater larger parties and events in your home or other off-site location.
